Nike Fit Guides takes the guesswork out of online shopping by providing customers with size recommendations, tailored to their measurements, so that they can shop with confidence and ease.
Sports Bra returns account for 17% of Nike’s return-related profit loss.
Our research showed that the most notable customer pain point while online shopping is the inability to get a sense of the true size and fit of a product, especially for women’s sports bras. We found that customers struggled to understand how to properly measure themselves, any existing guidance on measurement was difficult to find, and that product pages neglected to reflect the unique fit and sizing specs of each bra style.
Because women’s sports bras are the second most returned item at Nike, and are responsible for 17% of return-related profit loss, we knew we had to find a solution that could help reduce returns, while also helping customers make informed choices and find their perfect fit.
